The Board - Andrew Holt, Legal Director
Andrew Holt graduated from Sheffield University and in 1982 joined DLA Piper. He became a partner in 1989, at the almost unheard-of young age of 29. In 1991 he moved to Manchester as a founding partner of a new office there, and took the role of Head of Corporate. In 2002 he was asked to take a leading role in the London corporate practice. In 2008, Holt stood down as a partner of DLA Piper, although he maintains a role as consultant to the firm. He is a partner of Momentum Technologies LLP, which seeks to develop and commercially exploit industry-disruptive technologies from intellectual property arising from pure sciences and mathematics, where he works closely with the founder, Wayne Rudd.
